Water activities are the mainstay of Pickwick Landing State Park, where swimmers can head to an indoor pool, summertime outdoor pool or one of the reservoir's beaches while others take boats out to fish for catfish and smallmouth bass. Lodging is available at campsites, cabins or the lakeside inn, which also has a restaurant and large conference rooms. This elaborate park also contains an 18-hole golf course, three-mile hiking trail and a children's playground. It is located on the western side of the reservoir near the southern border of Tennessee, 30 miles by car from Corinth, Mississippi.
